The first step is to process the tested object: hold both ends of the wire and strip off about 2 centimeters of insulation layer, screw the two wire cores together and connect them to the high-voltage output terminal. Take a plastic basin to hold a basin of clean water, put the wire into the water (do not touch the wire core), and place the instrument circuit end in the clean water. After wiring is completed, turn on the instrument switch, slowly adjust the voltage, and observe the current rise. If the insulation performance of the wire is poor, the current will continue to rise, ultimately triggering an alarm that the product is not qualified.
